Easter Bracelets

Week 1, March 22nd – Psalm 22

Add the Red Thread

Today we begin our Easter journey through Psalm 22, 23, and 24. We ask that you take a red thread bracelet. The red thread reminds us of the suffering of Christ and the sacrifice of the cross described in Psalm 22. Wear it this week as a reminder of the love Jesus showed when He gave His life for us.

Week 2, March 23rd – Psalm 23

Add the Green Thread

Today we added a green thread. The green thread represents the “green pastures” of Psalm 23 and reminds us that the Shepherd who died for us is also the Shepherd who walks with us and cares for us every day. Tie the green thread to your wrist so you’ll have a reminder this week that the Lord is your Shepherd.

Green Thread – Psalm 23 The Shepherd who died for us now leads and cares for us.

Week 3 (Easter), April 2nd – Psalm 24

Add the Gold Thread

Today we added the final thread—gold. The gold thread reminds us that Jesus is not only the suffering Savior and the faithful Shepherd, but the risen King of Glory. Psalm 24 declares, “Lift up your heads… that the King of Glory may come in.”

As you add the gold thread, remember that Christ is risen and reigns forever!
